Who is Julie Horne?

Julie Horne is a Registered Nurse from Sweden who currently works in Oslo, Norway. She started her career in cardiac surgery, and then found her niche within the medical aesthetics world. She is the first nurse to become a global leader in this field. Julie is based at one of Norway’s most successful cosmetic clinics. She is the owner of Julie Horne Academy, where she trains providers in her lip techniques. 

Julie’s Lip Technique “Julie Horne Lip”

Julie launched her signature lip treatment in 2017 and has since gained a huge fan base (including me!) Julie’s signature injection technique produces beautiful, sustainable results for lip augmentation. Her techniques are informed from years of experience and collaboration with anatomists to understand all aspects of the delicate anatomical structures of the lips. 

While horizontal injections are the typical method for lip filler, Julie administers product through a series of vertical injections. She coined this technique as ‘fencing’ – similar to building fence posts - with the lip filler holding up the tissue on the top and bottom of the lip. Julie works slowly and methodically, ensuring a high level of precision. 

The end result is natural, subtle looking enhancements with a sharp definition of the lip border. Her signature lip is feminine in shape with a defined contour, highlighted cupid’s bow, and natural plumpness.
