Polished MedSpa, now located in Essex, CT was founded originally in Deep River of September 2018. Owned and operated by Lauren Hebert. Lauren prides herself on tailoring treatments to each client’s individual needs and offers free consultations for all services.
Meet Dr. Lauren Hebert DNP, APRN-BC
Dr. Lauren Hebert DNP, APRN-BC is Polished MedSpa’s medical director and owner. She graduated from joint programs Saint Joseph’s University and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA with her Bachelors of Nursing degree. She worked for 8 years in the intensive surgical/trauma unit at Yale New Haven Hospital where she gained a wealth of knowledge in treating all kinds of critically ill patients. At the end of her ICU career, she obtained her Doctorate and Adult Nurse Practitioner degree from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. While in graduate school, Lauren knew she wanted a change from the hospital setting. Her dermatology and plastic surgery studies interested her the most. She interned with a prestigious plastic surgeon on the shoreline where she developed her skills and more Importantly a passion in helping people look and feel their best! Lauren spent 3 years perfecting her craft and training extensively in facial aesthetics and other medical aesthetic modalities before attaining her dream of opening her own practice.

She is here to help you restore or create your desired appearance. Her goal is to always enhance your best features while maintaining a natural appearance. The longstanding relationship she has developed with all of her clients during her nursing career, demonstrates her skill, knowledge, character, and compassion. Working in medical aesthetics is especially rewarding to Lauren, as she sees it as the opportunity to help others improve their self esteem by enhancing their physical appearance. Lauren currently lives in Higganum with her husband, two children, Greyson and Stella, and their dog, Lucy.
Meet Dr. Cameron Luth DNP FNP-C
Cameron is our new laser specialist at Polished MedSpa!
Dr. Cameron Luth DNP, APRN-C is Polished MedSpa’s laser specialist. She graduated from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT with her Bachelors of Nursing degree. She worked for 5 years in a pulmonary progressive step down unit at Yale New Haven Hospital where she gained her critical thinking skills in treating patients with multiple comorbidities. At the end of her bedside career, she obtained her Doctorate and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Quinnipiac University. While in graduate school, Cameron knew she wanted to start helping her patients in a different and fresh way. Her womens health studies interested her the most were she completed multiple GYN rotations. It was here when she realized she wanted to help women feel their best both inside and out. She continues to develop her knowledge and skill base under the supervision of Dr. Lauren Hebert.
Meet Tatum Hax LE
Tatum is a certified ZO Expert & Specialist!
Tatum is our new Licensed Medical Esthetician! She has a passion for skincare and helping people to achieve great skin. Tatum received her license from River Valley Esthetics Institute in Deep River where she completed a 600 hour course. Tatum also completed advanced training with ZO Skin Health and holds her Expert & Specialist certifications.
When Tatum is not working, she loves mountain biking, hot yoga, reading and spending time with her great dane Oakley in Durham.
